Daily Smokey Eyes - Make Up Tutorial

Yelooo guys!

To be honest, I don't really know when I can say this makeup or that makeup is smokey eyes. Cause I don't know the smokey eyes limitation so when it comes to smokey eyes, I'm confused. So until now, I don't know the real smokey eyes makeup looks like (I even wrote "don't know" 3 times, that really shows that it confuses me). 

So I tried this makeup tutorial to test myself and let's say play save (HAHA), daily smokey eyes!

   

I came up with this daily smokey eyes (attention: daily ;p) so you can apply it during your daily time. Not too excessive but still cool. Hope it's still consider as smokey eyes. Here you go!

2. Apply light brown eyeshadow
half your eyelid

1. Start with putting the
eyeshadow base

         

3. Apply brown eyeshadow
on the crease

4. Apply black eyeshadow on the
outer corner of the eye,
creating the shape.

5. Use blending brush,blend
the color by swinging your
brush from the outer corner
to the crease,
the color will blend naturally. 

6. Apply nude eyeshadow to
the brow bone and also
apply black eyeshadow on the
low outer corner of the eye.

7. Apply black gel liner upon
the lash line and black pencil
liner on the lower waterline.

8. Curl the eyelash and apply
the mascara on the
upper and lower eyelashes.

Don't forget to apply your foundation and voila! The look's complete! Hope you guys like it!

And moreover, I want to share the song that I like to listen recently. I know this song is already late and I was too late either to recognize (sorry, I'm not a k-pop lover) but never mind, still love it. The title is Fool by JUNIEL ft. Jung Yong Hwa (CN Blue)

At first, my friend told me about this MV cause we both like Yong Hwa and she said that in this MV he's so handsome, and yet it's true! He's so handsome! I don't know he built his muscles and because of that he looks more manly in this MV, love it! Here's the video, enjoy! :)

I don't really know what's the meaning of this song cause I didn't look the English lyrics, but I think it must be romantic <3 Somehow he looks cute with Juniel and her voice matched Yong Hwa's voice, so the song turns so cute and lovely. Hope you guys like it! :)

Pentatonix - Obsession List

So I decided to make a title called obsession list for things that I obsessed with. And this is my first obsession list!
Number 1 Obsession List:

Yeah, really late to recognize this group, but really, after watching it, you'll love it!


Pentatonix is an American a cappella group of five vocalists from Arlington, Texas. The group won the third season of The Sing Off competition on NBC in 2011. The members are Scott Hoying, Kirstie Maldonado, Mitch Grassi, Avi Kaplan and Kevin Olusola

Pentatonix is named after the pentatonic scale, a musical scale or mode with five notes per octave. The group believed that the scale's five notes matched their membership. They replaced the last letter with an x to make it more appealing. Their inspiration influenced from pop, dub step, electro, reggae and hip-hop.

Generally Scott, Mitch and Kirstie who mostly sing the lyrics, Avi is the bass and Kevin is the beatboxer. Both Kevin and Avi also have beautiful voice, sometimes they also got the sing part and they're the one who sing the 'music', awesome!

I like them because without any music instrument they can make such an awesome arrangements and their songs really reflect them. Their arrangements are so beautiful, sometimes give me chills when hearing it. And on live performances, they really sing it flawlessly, without any music instruments, just voice, how cool's that?

They've released 3 albums, contents of their album mostly covers but there's also their original song called "Run to You". The first one is PTX Vol. 1, and then they released PTXmas and the present one is PTX Vol. 2. Almost all of their covers went viral on youtube and they also had tour recently :D

My favorite member from Pentatonix is Mitch Grassi. Definitely he's the first high voice singer that I like, especially when he reached the high notes in "Can't hold us", AWESOME! Really like him cause his awesome voice, so adorable!

And also Scott Hoying and Mitch Grassi have their own youtube channel called SUPERFRUIT, I recommend you to watch and subscribe for it. They're so funny and spontaneous. There's a video where they did Beyonce album mashup, so beautiful, even Beyonce tweeted to them and said that they're so flawless singing that song! <3

Birthday Surprise Ideas

February and March are the months where there are many of my friends had their birthdays, so when we're in high school we used to give surprises for them for their birthdays.
In Jakarta, Indonesia, birthday surprises are more often like crazy things that we did to the birthday person (esp. high schools), for example we use eggs, flour, ketchup, even expired food to throw at them

Yeahh, for example that's me back then when I was 17. My friends threw eggs, soy sauce, flour anddd a stale indonesian food called Soto that was mixed with dog food, how cool is that??

But instead of throwing them lots of crazy stuffs, I'll share you guys the ideas of birthday surprises that me and my friend came up and did it during high school that can make your birthday person feel special ;)

The main part of the surprises is friends, gathered up all the friends that close with her/him cause the 'star' will be so happy seeing their friends give them surprise no matter how simple it is. It's all about friendship and togetherness <3


1. Simple Monocrome Happy Birthday!
This is a simple surprise but still took efforts for it

• Gathered a number of people as the number of the HAPPY BIRTHDAY! letter (14 people), 1 person take 1 letter each and wear black shirt. 
• For the letter just use A4 papers, use used paper (that have blank side) instead to decrease global warming ;) 1 paper 1 letter, write the letter in a big size with black marker.
• Stick the paper on the back and voila! Here's the result!

You can also make it Happy B'day instead happy birthday, easier and lessen people needed ;)

Make that formation in front of his/her house and call them. It's best that his/her house has a balcony so they will see from up there, if don't it's okay they can come out from the house instead. Sing Happy Birthday to her/him and give them the birthday cake ;D

2. Creative Formation
This is a creative way to make the 'star' feel special.

• To make the formation at least there are 8 people minimum, we make the formation based on how many people that attend the surprise.
• For the easy way, draw the formation first on the paper.

• List your friends first and then put it in the formation (left pict). You can make any kind of shape like numbers. That time I usually took the first letter from her/his first name. You also can make heart shape (right pict). Trust me it works, I'd arranged that heart shape and it looks so beautiful.

After that, you must hold something to clarify the shape, you can use flashlights, candles, even fireworks! Place the person who hold the birthday cake in the middle of attention so the 'star' knows.
You can do it in front of her/his house or in the empty field so you can have more space and the shape can be more seen, call her/him and sing happy birthday!! :D

3. Man in the box
I suggest you to do this to a thin male. This is an insane yet fun thing to do. It all started from my friend (the birthday boy) who always teasing us and one day, at that time out of nowhere I replied "Don't make me put you in a box and I send you away!" (I'm joking okay, not really meant to it). After said that there's like a sound in my brain, "Ting!" and I said to my friend, "Why don't we really put him in a box?" so yeah that really happened.

• Collect thick and big size cardboards, it'll be more useful, cause you'll make a human-sized box. You can make the box either the person sit in it or stand in it, it's all up to you, it'll take more cardboards for the standing one.
• The hard part is making the box steady for human. Place a plywood in the bottom, it must be solid for him to sit, and place blocks in each angle so the cardboards don't fall down. And finally, place the top cardboard.
• Don't forget to make holes, so the person can breath in it. Use duct tape to make the cardboards stronger and stuck on each other.

You can paint the cardboard or write wishes on it to make it more lovely.

That's me in high school, so pardon the messy hair  (esp. my bangs :p)

Voila! The box is set!

It didn't fit in the car! LOL

Make sure that many males attend the surprise because they're the one who must carry the box, hahaha muscle power! Abduct the birthday one (sounds creepy :p), tie his hands and feet, put him in the box, carry it to the center of the empty field and left him! hohoho, let's see what will he do.

Actually this surprise caused a chaos at the field (it's 3AM) but everybody especially the birthday boy had a great time. After the birthday one come out, sing him happy birthday and give the cake :D

funny fact: my friend (the birthday boy) kept the cardboards in his home until he moved out to Australia

4. Simple cute thing
This is the recently surprise that me and my best friend gave to our best friend :)
Put the present and cute things she likes inside the mason jar and make a choco pie tower for her 'cake'

And also I want to pray for MH 370 incident. I can't imagine how the passengers and their families gone through with it especially there are babies and kids inside the plane :'( Let's hope and pray for the best result.

Spring is Here - Make Up Tutorial

Spring is here!! Actually there's no spring here in Jakarta, it only has 2 seasons whether it's sunny or rainy, how sad it is huh? I always want to know how it feels living in a country that has 4 seasons cause when I saw snow it's kinda cold but exciting (of course snows are cold), but maybe I can't stand it :p

So for welcoming the spring season, this is my first makeup tutorial

So I came with the idea of this simple makeup that make you look soft and calm, and also you can apply it for your daily occasions like at work, hang out with friends, or a simple date! It's easy and doesn't take times.

1. Start with putting the
eyeshadow base

2. Apply pink eyeshadow
all over your eyelid

3. Apply brown eyeshadow
on the outer corner of
the eye and crease,
creating the shape.

4. Use blending brush, blend the color by swinging
your brush from the outer corner to the crease,
the color will blend naturally.          

  5. Apply light pink to the             

       brow bone and also                      

       apply brown eyeshadow        

       on the low outer corner

       of the eye  

6. Apply black eyeliner upon the lash line
and white eyeliner on
the lower waterline

Don't forget to apply foundation or BB cream or CC cream (the texture of BB and CC cream are lighter than foundation) and powder. Voila! The look's complete!

*I'm using a pencil concealer for the lower waterline from Make Up For Ever, so if you don't have white eyeliner, just use concealer pencil instead ;)
