The Jubilee Project - Obsession List

Welcome to my second obsession list!! I really want to post this cause I want to share it with you guys how inspiring these people are. So, without further ado, my number 2 obsession list is:

Actually I just knew their channel around a month ago hahaha (sorry JP ;p), but thanks to my friend who's telling me this I finally watched it and damn! Their videos are awesome!! Here we go!


The Jubilee Project is a film-making group composed of Jason Y. Lee, Eddie Lee, and Eric I. Lu. They produced a number of short films and music video released on their website and their YouTube channel.

It all started from the Haiti earthquake in January 2010, Jason and his friends decided to respond by busking in a New York City subway station to raise $100 for Haiti. That day they fell $30 short of their goal, but when they created a video about it and placed it online they ended up raising over $700 for Haiti earthquake relief!

Cause of the result,  Jason, Eddie, and Eric joined together to create Jubilee Project. Their diversity of backgrounds, Jason in business, Eddie in government and Eric in medicine, allows them to bring a variety of experiences to the table, but what unites them is their passion for philanthropy and film-making.

I like them cause they're making short films to engage people to do good things, like they said, "Doing Good is Contagious". I like the way they proved their motto by making short films for fundraises, or short films to raise our awareness, so they really want me + you to realize that there are many positive things that we can share to other people but there are also negative things that we must stop and change it to positive things :)

Basically I wrote about Jubilee Project in this post cause I truly, really inspired by them. They really make my heart moved. So I share this good things to you guys hoping that you guys also can be moved by them and share it to other people. Let all people know, that Doing Good is Contagious :)

Prasetiya Mulya Business School's Event - Prasmul Olympics

Guess what, this is my first time writing a post about my activities! Wohoo! Hope I didn't mess up and I'll give my best for it! :D
So this is the 'thing' that I said on my last post, the last event that I attended successfully, PRASMUL OLYMPICS!

Basically this is an event that was held by Prasetiya Mulya, one of Jakarta's Business School. They held many competitions and tournaments here such as modern dance competition, basketball tournament, and many more for students from other colleges or schools to attend. And of course there are so many prizes for the winners.

Now let's begin with my activities in this event.


I always love dancing and I always miss it. Thanks to my friend who's one of my dancing crew during high school, he offered our crew including me to perform on this event. Cause we all haven't danced together for a long time, we decided to do it for this event and here we come!

I got to perform 2 times in a day, on the afternoon with my crew and night with Prasmul's (Prasetiya Mulya) students.

On the afternoon, we performed on final basketball tournament's half time. It's so amazing yet nerve-wracking. Even though I've performed since primary school but still, that nervous feeling never disappear. So here we are!

                      

We always decided ourselves what costume should we wear, so here it is!

Male: Black shirt, black trousers, bow tie, tie.
Female: Black bustier, black hot pants, stocking (different colors and motives) and blazer
Basically we want a touch of red color, so that's why everybody has their red thing (except girls who wore all the same) like red ties, red shoes, and red blazers! :)

Seriously those eyelashes are really uncomfortable. Cause of the thickness, when I danced, my hair got stuck on it. It ended with me, busy with my hair during performance hahahaha. But I handle my stuck hair secretly so the performance still went smoothly ;p

But thank God, the performance went well, the committee were satisfied with it and all the audiences were enjoyed by our performance. Here's the sneak peek!

And that's the afternoon part! Now's the night part.

The night performance is more simple than the afternoon cause we're doing flashmob for closing ceremony! 
That's why not only my crew who's gonna perform, but we perform with Prasmul's students! The one that I like from the night performance is, we're doing "Glow in the Dark" theme! Here we are!

Our costume is white top and any outer, you can wear blazer, jacket, cardigan, everything, for the pants also we can wear everything. The main point is the white shirt so it'll popped out under the UV light. I decided to wore the same red blazer cause I'm too lazy to bring another outer HAHA.

The part that I like is using "Glow in the Dark" paint! We can draw anything on our body or face and it's safe! This is the first time I used this thing and I think it's so cool! After thinking so many ideas, I finally drew 2 lines (JUST 2 lines) on my cheek hahahaha.

We also got glow sticks! We can shape it in a creative ways, either as a bracelet or as shoes decorator and they also provide equipments to make glasses and bunny ears from glow sticks, so cute right?!

And this is my make up for flashmob :D

From face to eyes are the same except the lips. I changed it to nude color. I borrowed my friend's lipstick so I don't know what brand is it hahahaha.
















And comes the time when we have to perform! Here's the sneak peek!

It went well and I'm so happy cause the audiences were so full of spirit! They even cheering us during the performance! The audiences are the participators from running event, and there are 900 people who attended the "Glow in the Dark" Running Event, so cool right?!

After we'd done our performance, everything turned into chaos hahahaha. All the audiences joined us to the dance floor, enjoying the DJ performance and look what happened here.

Yeah, some of the committees threw all the phosphor powder and glow sticks in the air and you know what happened next. All of the floor and also us, got so dirty because of the powder :') The best part is….. that powder accidentally went into my mouth!! Hahahahaha. Seriously it tastes awful!

We all had a great time and thank God the event ended successfully. I'll never forget that night cause that night was so epic but yet so fun! :D

First of all, I'm sorry for this 2 or 3 weeks that I didn't post anything. I was so busy with many events and thank God the last event ended successfully, it's a great event and I had so much fun! Later I'll post it on my blog ;)

7 Facts about me:

1. I really don't like crying kids, ONLY when they're crying esp. the type of kids who like to scream when they're crying, I can't take it except for my own niece, but if they're in a happy mood, I love them.

2. I'm not a panic person. Somehow I always face something in a calm way and actually it's easier to solve it with a calm mind ;)

3. I'm thin or you can say skinny, but believe me, my eating level is as same as my male friends or sometimes beyond them ;p

4. I really love spicy food, but the sad fact is…. my tongue accept the flavor but my stomach doesn't accept it at all, you guys know what I mean right? Yeah, toilet is my best home at that time.

5. I love karaoke so much! Me and my friends like to set our karaoke time and the schedule is once in 2 weeks, cool right?! My record for doing karaoke was 4 days in a row, crazy huh?! Hahahaha

Once in a lifetime we took a photo during karaoke :p

6. I can play musical instruments such as piano, recorder, and violin (a little).

7. I like to create some stories through my imagination! Pardon my weirdness guys but it really helps when I want to go to sleep, it can prevent you from thinking anything that bothers you in your real life ;)

Prom Girl

Still in the prom air, and as I promised you guys on my last post, my first outfit post! Yeay! This is the dress that inspired my make up tutorial last week and this is my sister's dress. I wore it just for fun, just to fulfill my desire to wear this dress ;p 

On top of it, sorry for the bad quality, dark photos and messy background. I edited as best as I could to make the photo looks brighter. And honestly, I took this photos in a rush, I used the time when my sister wasn't at home, cause I know she'll be mad if I wear her dress so that's why without thinking any good places, I chose my messy room, sorry guys! All of this happened because I didn't ask her permission to wear it HAHA!

Her dress suits prom so well, I couldn't resist to wear it! :p One thing that I like about this dress is the sweet pink color! The model is so simple but it gives you a sweet feminine look by wearing it, and what suits prom best is the skirt part. It feels like you're ready to be the prom queen hahaha ;p

There's no brand for this dress. My sister asked tailor to made this based on what she wants :) Do you like it guys? Tell me on the comment ;)

 And moreover, I want to support the BBOG campaign. BBOG is Bring Back Our Girls.

So there are more than 200 girls in Nigeria who were kidnapped by terrorists. Their purpose is to sell them to another country in Africa. How cruel is it? Every girls have their rights and they don't deserve to be treated like that. Let's help them by supporting BBOG campaign. You can search it on instagram, google or anything: BBOG or #BRINGBACKOURGIRLS. Let's pray for their safe return.

Aqua Pink - Prom Make Up Tutorial

Prom is coming up people (for Indonesian people, I don't know in the other country ;D)!! I love Prom cause that's the last event in high school that we'll always remember. In my country, Prom's just for seniors (3rd year) who will graduate from high school, I don't know is it same in other country? I really love my high school life, it really left lovely memories for me, that's why I cherish Prom so much.

So today, I'm giving you a makeup tutorial for Prom :) For this time, I decided to make a girly look cause Prom's still in high school line, so I make the look that suitable for high school age, not too bold ;) Here it is!

       

                         

I made this look inspired from my sister's dress and one of my favorite color, Baby Blue. Pardon my uncreative makeup title or name, I'm so suck at making a name or title, so I just came up with the one that popped in my head.

1. Start with putting the
eyeshadow base

2. Apply light pink all over
the eyelid

3. Apply darker pink on
the crease, blend it

4. Apply orange-pinkish on
the outer corner of the eye, blend it

5. Apply shimmer baby blue
on the inner corner,
light pink on the low outer
corner of the eye

6. Apply black gel liner and
make the cat-eye shape

7. Apply black pencil liner on
the lower waterline

8. Curl the eyelash and
apply the mascara on the upper
and lower lashes

Complete it with fake eyelashes and voila! You're ready for Prom!
